Firstly, I hope you are doing great, eating healthy, and balancing your diet.

This category of content may sound strange to you or new but trust me you and I, are going to have lots of fun here on food thoughts πŸ€žπŸ’ƒπŸ’―!

Where I would be talking about food, food, food, and food! Who doesn't love food? I know I love food and by food, I mean goooood food πŸ˜‹!

The kind of food that would make you salivate and lick your plateπŸ˜‹ till it's finished! 


Anyway, let's dive right in! Today, I will be starting with something simple, a mind opener about the quickest 5-minute meal you know and love, noodles (in case you missed it.)

There are so many brands of noodles here in Nigeria, from indomie to chikki, and golden penny, and so much more. But the most popular one is INDOMIE or indomietables or however you like to call it! 

And in case you didn't know, noodles are not real food or meal. They are junk foods 😁 (oops, sorry to burst your bubble!)

However, no matter how junky it may be you could always add some other ingredients in order to balance it up and get all the nutrients you need. 

Anyway, that is on a lighter note. It has so many myths behind it that you may have also believed. 
Like, some say  it causes cancer, it has some harmful preservatives or additives in it and the spice that comes with it, are also not healthy.

Most especially, some say if you eat the noodles raw or without per-boiling it first before cooking, you'd get Cancer or heart disease. 

My dear foodie, it's not true!!! None of those myths/lies are true. They have not being scientifically proven to be cancerous. 

On the same note, let's look at some healthy benefits and side effects of your everyday noodles🍜🍜🍜.

√.   IT HELPS IN DEVELOPING A HEALTHY BRAIN, BECAUSE IT CONTAINS VITAMIN B6 WHICH IS AN ESSENTIAL NUTRIENT FOR HUMANS. 

√.   "IT IS A SOURCE OF DIETARY FIBRE." WHICH MEANS, WHENEVER YOU EAT INDOMIE, YOU GET FILLED UP QUICKLY THEREBY CONTROLLING YOUR WEIGHT.

Hey foodie, are you thinking of quitting noodles? Oh, don't please! You don't have to quit. ALL IS WELL😁😌! All you must do to avoid it side effects is not to consume it every single day, rather at least once a week.

And whenever you want to prepare it, do not use all of its "follow-come" spice (salt) because it is high in sodium and can cause hypertension, don't make use of palm oil as well. and make sure to add extra nutrients like carrots, cabbage, and other vegetables with a good protein, like fish, egg or chicken, (however you like it, or, wherever your money take reachπŸ˜‚.)
