ANOTHER MONDAY! 😒

It's Monday again, I mean another Monday, still a Nigerian, but the sweet thing is you're back to my blog. I know I don't usually do this, but this morning I feel like I should just give you some of the weekend update from the trends around (more of like Nigeria trend though🤣🤣🤭). At least, I said the blog will be for "trends and everything more" but if you still want to fight the legality of me writing this, let's meet in court😎🤣🤣🤣🤭. Before I proceed though I strongly need to say this; I don't know who you are or whatever you are going through, but I want to tell you that "no matter how bad what you're going through, it's just a phase, pain will pass soon and you won't even remember it anymore because of the amount of joy you'll be experiencing. DON'T GIVE UP, KEEP TRYING, TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY AROUND. NEVER THINK OF SUICIDE, IT'S NOT WORTH IT". Back to the headlines😎😋🤣

It would be a dumb attempt not to start these all with the saga. The story of the pedophilic action of baba Ijesha has become the headline talk of the internet since more than a week now, but with the input of people like Iyabo Ojo, Comedienne Princess, other actors in the yorùbá movie industry and of course Yomi Fabiyi, the story is not looking like it will go away anytime soon. A quick overview though; more than a week now, news broke on the internet about how baba ijesha molested a 14years old girl, although it was said that he (baba Ijesha) had earlier molested the girl as earlier as when she was 7years of age (I think you've heard of that already by now). To cut the story short, at 14, he wanted to continue what he had started when she was 14 but this time he didn't know he had been clearly set up... Oops! What's new in the story? He was almost granted bail last week but unfortunately for him, Iyabo Ojo was in the picture and the later mastermind a protest that saw that that never happened. Curiosity abound though about the veracity of the whole story, and this made some people call for the release of the said video that had implicated baba Ijesha (although that didn't come out well🤭🥺😒) but sha the video was release yesterday morning. Have you seen it?

If you have by any chance been on twitter this last weekend you would have noticed a trending hashtag justiceforHinyHumoren and even if you're not an active twitter user, you might still have heard about it. This is not just a regular hashtag but a sad call for justice, let me tell you about it. Our mommy use to pray that "in our pursuit for what we want to eat, we will not encounter what will eat us"🥺😒🥺 Hiny had no one to say the prayer for her and it had in the reverse for her🥺😟😭. As it was gathered, Hiny had gotten a call for blind interview in a company she never knew and from a person she never saw before. Although she did everything right, first by telling her friend everything about the interview she was going for, furthermore, she sent the contact of the person who had invited her for the interview and all the detail she could think of, and lastly her mobile phone gps was on when she was going for the interview. Unfortunately, all the effort she employed were not enough to stop her from being killed. It turned out it was all a false call, she had only been lured there to be kidnapped, raped and by Sunday it turned out she had also been killed🖤😟😪😔

You wondering why I added OAU to this list abi? That's because it's lecture free week in OAU meaning exams are starting next week and one of the things to be expected especially for the student staying on campus, is scarcity of water and power outage in general (wahala for who dey stay campus sha🤣🤣🤣)... In more than 5years in OAU some things never change, although maybe it was to be expected when OAU decided to add "sport and struggle" to the greatife anthem🤣🤣🤣 anyone outside the university community would think the words meant aluta struggle but the truth is, na suffer head struggle🤣🤭 if you need hug sha, I hug for a living (although free service for ladies sha🤭😋🙃). Funny enough, some people still have tests this week and next week sef (na die we dey😒😔😪), low key people are reading like their breath depends in it (well, for some it does sha😒🤭🤣)... See ehn, when next you see an OAU student from now till the next month please hug them and squeeze money into their hand, ko easy mehn😟😟🥺...
