Nigeria is not a nation. It is a mere geographical expression. There are no 'Nigerians' in the same sense as there are 'English,' 'Welsh,' or 'French.' The word 'Nigerian' is merely a distinctive appellation to distinguish those who live within the boundaries of Nigeria and those who do not.

There is a story you were not told, and it's the true story of Nigeria. This blog post today is not like all of the other posts you've read on my blog. This is because, at a time like this in our country we all need to start talking; the days of looking are gone.
Let me tell you what I know about Nigeria.
Nigeria is one of the best-kept secrets.

The first question is where did it go wrong with Nigeria? Trust me, it didn't start with Buhari, it started with Lugard; the Amalagamation partyπ€£ππ€. I bet you'll be tempted to ask "what's the Amalagamation party?" See ehn I can only answer that question with an analogy. Think of it as a very good day where you get very excited and decided to give yourself a treat, but because you're very excited, you ended up eating 6wraps of Amala and you feel like you're too full and might not even be able to walk. Do you know what happens when you urinate after an amala treatππ€π€£? Yes, that's itπ€π€π
Nigeria came to be from the over excitement of Lugard and if you ask me, it's just an amala party. That's why immediately the British left, we took a pee.
All war is a symptom of man's failure as a thinking animal.

I've never been good at blaming people for situations that happens naturally, but trust me, our problem in Nigeria begins and continues entirely with the the Amalagamation party. Did you just say howπππ? Okay, let me explain some things to you .
One of the biggest characteristics of a nation is its Homogeneity i.e. language, culture, norm and shared belief. So as to not confuse you further, check countries like England, France, Sweden, China or even Ghana. Unfortunately, Nigeria was never built on Homogeneity but rather on business deal. Does the southern protectorate and northern protectorate sound familiar to you? It's all business. What do you think will happen when the business started going well but the people don't understand themselves? If I continue with this writeup i will eventually get emotional so let me just stop it here. Here is a take away though
The real strength of our nation comes from our people - not our buildings; but the question is simply "who are the people and where is our nation?"
PS. This article was written with a vague language for security reasons, but I hope you understand π₯ππ
