Remember they say; what goes around, comes around? Yeah, that thing is so accurate and correct. And, since it's a small world (like they used to say), at times what goes around, come back around way faster than you can imagine.
I know you're expecting a story π€π, but this time I'm doing a music review. Although it's a song that tells a story, you'll really love it.
JOYNER LUCAS - KEEP IT 100
Based on your own definition of old song, since it was released in 2017, this may qualify as an old song, and still may not. But, one thing I'm sure of is that; the storyline never grows old.
The storyline is circled around how money is the root of blessings and all evil too, and to simply explain this, the $100 bill is used as a case study. Now the story πππ
It all started with a guy who works 10hours a day and lucky for him, he finally got his check, and straight he went to the ATM to withdraw a $100 bill, not for food but rather for some pills (no be paracetamol o, you know warriris ππ€), from a guy he met outside the gas station. He paid the hundred dollar bill and they parted their way. Off to the strip club the guy with the $100 went, for some drinks and orders.
At the strip club he saw this one particular striper who happens to catch his fancy. She saw the Benjamin on the table and even she had to come over. "You got a boyfriend?" He asked, "you know what, I don't care" he added and wrote his number on the $100 bill with a red marker. And that's where everything went wrong.
When she got home, she had to get some things from the store, so she went with the same $100 bill with the number written on it with red marker which the storekeeper immediately noticed; "what number is that?" He asked but she wasn't answering, so he just let it slide and put it into the register. But unfortunately for him, he hasn't even closed the register when robbers came in and carted away all the money in the register. Now another journey for the $100 billπππ.
On Sunday, the robber went went to church and had to drop the same $100 dollar bill with the marker in the offering, well he had thought of it as an atonement for the week's sin (crazy thought). After the service, the priest also felt he needed some money, so he picked the money on top of the offering box and that happened to be the same $100 bill, and straight he headed for the street, he needed a whore. He did what he gotta do and paid her a hundred.
Now off to the street she went, she had forgotten she had a pump who had been looking for her for days, now that one caught up took all the money on her, and left her eyes red and grey, and head to the corner to play some games. He unfortunately lost all the money but felt it was a nice game. The man who had won the game went off with the money but because he was running, his wallet fell with a hundred dollar bill pointing out but he never knew.
Days went by until one day a homeless man found it and was very happy. It was a hundred dollar bill with some numbers written on it in red, if he had had a phone, he would have called it, but since he doesn't, he felt this was just his own blessing. He needed some food and if it comes in cheap, he needed some drugs too, so when he headed for the store but unfortunately that happened to be the exactly same store that had been robbed some days earlier, and when he stretched the $100 bill with the red marker on it, the storekeeper recognized it at once and everything stopped ☹️π.
Remember i said "what goes around, comes around"? Yes it always does. πΆπΆπΆπΆ
