IF NOT FOR HOME TRAINING

One of the things attributed to african parents is a system of child upbringing popularly known as "home training". This simply refers to the form of upbringing that's applied in raising the child to meet up with the societal culture, morals and norms. If you're an african child, no matter your level riches or pampering, you still have it too, no matter how little it may be.

If you're a Nigerian, particularly from the yoruba culture, no matter where you may be on the face of the earth (if you like, run go jand😏😇😋) as long as one of your parents is Nigerian, yoruba to be precise, you'll be served your home training in full and even at times in excess🤣🤣🤣🤣. This home training to a very large extent is responsible for most of the things you do and how you do them. Even when you digress away from it, you know you're not doing the right thing.

I for one, did not fill Nigeria in my travel papers in heaven, but one thing sha lead to the other and I found myself in Nigerian parent home, and worst of it all, Nigerian living in Nigeria (you can only understand my pains if filled Norway too😒☹️🥺). Having both your parents being Nigeria is a direct subscription to home training, now having both of them being Yoruba, ha! That one is premium plan subscription. Kai! Dem don over train me. You know all those kind of home training where you can't even write "God" with small letter "g".

I don't know how Yoruba parents do it, but you just wake up one day and realize that you've been so trained so much that you feel doing any bad thing will make you die instantly, even thinking about doing something not the way you've been thought alone is enough to get you scared🤣🤣🤣. I didn't even plan to be born in Nigeria 🥺☹️, now everybody is doing Yahoo+ and I can't even do it😭😭😭

If not for home training ehn;

• I would have gotten 4 piercings on my face (awa team magnito🤣🤣🤣)

• my body will have been covered in tattoo so much that you wouldn't even know my skin color🤣🤭

Don't let me tell you how bad I would have gotten jare, mo ma bad gan🤣🤣🤣

But now common cheating sef I no even fit cheat now, na one girlfriend I don get since dem born me☹️😒. Abeg make I dey go, I don dey vex already.
